AE1 - stains most epithelia and the basal layer of epidermis, primarily low molecular weight keratins of the acidic subfamily including the 56.5, 50, 48 and 40kd. AE3 - stains most epithelia and the entire epidermis, primarily the high molecular weight keratins of the basic subfamily including 65-67, 64, 59, 58, 56 and 52kd. |
