Services"Our commitment is to provide comprehensive and superior quality anatomical pathology services." YPMG can provide without limitation, all hospital and office based anatomical, cytological, and clinical pathology services that comprise the following:
YPMG would provide H&E surgical pathology sections and special stains, on all requested current CPT-coded surgical pathology sections. Specific special stains that are requested by the referring physicians and not available at YPMG shall be referred to an appropriate facility for preparation. Routine anatomical biopsies (current CPT codes 88300-88361) shall be interpreted and reported between twenty-four (24) and seventy-two (72) hours according to the procedures and within the standards of accuracy, established, from time to time, by the College of American Pathologist, CLIA 88, and the California Department of Health Services. Routine cytology (pap) smears (current CPT codes 88142 – 88155) shall be screened, interpreted, and reported between four (4) and eight (8) working days, according to the procedures and within the standards of accuracy, established, from time to time, by the College of American Pathologist, CLIA 88, and the California Department of Health Services. Our courteous couriers are available for daily pickup and delivery of reports as well as STAT pickups. We provide transportation services to the following counties: Amador, Calaveras, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne.
