Gopal Patel, M.D.

Dr. Patel joined YPMG in 2022. He earned his doctoral degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Guelph, Canada, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Chicago and at the University of Pennsylvania. He later obtained his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Caribbean Netherlands. Dr. Patel completed his Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, followed by Hematopathology fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California, and Cytopathology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with a subspecialty board certification in Hematopathology.
